Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 1 pound salmon fillets Cut into bite-sized pieces for even cooking. Can substitute with trout or chicken.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Keep salmon chilled before cooking to maintain texture.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Toast spices lightly in the pan before adding salmon for deeper flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) Adjust based on spice preference.

Liquids/Dairy: Sauces

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can use Greek yogurt for a healthier version.
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut your salmon into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.
  • Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper to the salmon. Toss well to coat evenly.
  • Combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl. Mix well until smooth.

Cooking

  • Spread the seasoned salmon bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once the salmon bites are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them with the prepared sauce until evenly coated.

Serving

  • Serve the Bang Bang Salmon Bites warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For an inviting presentation, serve in a colorful bowl or on a platter. Pair with rice or a fresh salad. Plan for 3-4 bites per person as an appetizer.
