Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Starch/Pasta

  • 12 ounces Cheese tortellini Boil just until al dente.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust according to taste; some blends can be quite spicy.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 1 cup Heavy cream Monitor to prevent curdling.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Mix with cream for sauce.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic Minced for maximum flavor.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Sprinkle before serving.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Adds brightness to the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning.
  • Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stir gently, and bring to a simmer, letting it bubble for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese slowly, letting it melt into the sauce.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and chicken back into the skillet, gently tossing to coat in the sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Enhance flavor by marinating the chicken in Cajun seasoning. Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
