Creamy Base

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  • Add the orzo pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Stir in the fresh broccoli florets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Lower the heat and mix in the shredded chicken, butter, and milk.
  • Gradually add the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.

Notes
