  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For garnishing if desired.
  • As needed Olive oil for cooking Use a splash for cooking the steak.

Cooking Pasta

  • Begin by cooking the twisted pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking Steak

  • In a skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and stir in the Cajun seasoning.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and blended.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked pasta and steak bites to the sauce, mixing well to coat everything evenly.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add minced garlic or herbs to the sauce. Customize with your favorite vegetables, such as spinach or bell peppers. Consider serving with a sprinkle of crushed red pepper for an extra kick.
