  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts Butterfly the chicken into four pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 oz packet ranch seasoning

Preparation

  • Season the butterflied chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the chicken pieces. Cook for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • In a bowl, mix the half and half, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and remaining onion powder and black pepper.
  • Pour the creamy ranch sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.

Notes

Optionally, add fresh herbs like parsley or chives for extra flavor. Customize by adding veggies like spinach or mushrooms to the sauce.
