Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli Use your favorite type of ravioli.
  • 2 cups pasta sauce Any brand or homemade sauce can be used.
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For garnishing.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Spread a layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Place half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer on top of the sauce.
  • Add dollops of ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the ricotta.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Repeat layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, ricotta, and cheeses.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for about 3-4 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted.
  • Once done, let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese. Serve with a simple side salad and garlic bread. This dish can be customized with fresh herbs or different ravioli fillings.
