Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey Opt for turkey with 93% lean content for juiciness without being fatty.

Starch/Pasta

  • 2 cups Rice White or brown rice works well; cooking rice with a bit of vinegar adds flavor.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Toast spices briefly in the pan for enhanced aroma before adding meat.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha Adjust the level to suit your spice tolerance.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise A lighter option can be Greek yogurt.
  • 3 tablespoons Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 0.5-1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust according to desired spiciness.
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 teaspoons Grated Ginger
  • 1 cup Carrots Shredded.
  • 1 cup Cucumbers Sliced.
  • 1 cup Edamame
  • 1 medium Avocado Sliced.
  • 1 cup Cabbage Shredded.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions For topping.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Lightly toasted for flavor.

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Cook the rice according to the package instructions until fluffy and tender.
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat for about a minute.
  • Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Mix in the spices, soy sauce, and sriracha, cooking for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  • Assemble the bowls by layering rice first, followed by ground turkey and then fresh veggies, drizzling with the Bang Bang sauce and topping with sesame seeds.

Notes
