  • Gather all your ingredients: avocados, lime, and salt.
  • Slice each avocado in half and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Discard the pits.
  • Using a fork, mash the avocado to your desired consistency—smooth or chunky.
  • Pour in the freshly squeezed lime juice to prevent browning and add flavor.
  • Sprinkle in the salt and mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice as needed.

Notes

Store guacamole in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. For freezing, use a freezer bag, removing excess air.
