Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a smooth marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey Dijon mixture over them, ensuring they are well-coated.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before sprinkling with fresh herbs and serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Customize with spices like garlic powder or paprika for extra depth.
