Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 1 lb Boneless chicken tenders Rinse and pat dry. Can substitute with boneless chicken breasts.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 1 cup Buttermilk Soak chicken for at least 30 minutes.

Starch/Pasta

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Use for coating. Gluten-free flour blends can be substituted.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 1 tsp Paprika Add depth and flavor.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Add depth and flavor.
  • 1 tsp Onion powder Add depth and flavor.
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper Adjust spice level to taste.
  • 0.5 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Honey Mix with hot sauce.
  • 0.25 cup Hot sauce Choose depending on heat preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak the chicken tenders in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
  • Place the coated tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway.
  • In a small pot over low heat, combine honey and hot sauce; stir until smooth.
  • Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the chicken tenders before serving.

Notes

Experiment with different hot sauces for unique flavors. Serve with ranch or blue cheese for dipping.
