  • ½ cup yogurt (optional) Greek yogurt is recommended for thickness.

Flavor Enhancers

  • ½ cup chopped pistachios Use unsalted and optionally toasted for enhanced flavor.
  • honey or maple syrup Add according to taste; adjust with alternatives like agave or stevia.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of rolled oats with 1 cup of milk and your chosen sweetener. Stir well to make sure oats are evenly coated.
  • Mix in ½ cup of yogurt if you’re using it.
  • Add ½ cup of chopped pistachios to the mixture. Reserve some for topping. Fold gently to distribute the nuts throughout.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir the oats before serving to fluff them up and check the consistency.
  • Spoon the oats into serving bowls and sprinkle the reserved pistachios on top.
  • Add fresh fruits or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor.

Notes

For flavor enhancement, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon. Customize with dried fruits or chocolate chips for added sweetness.
