  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice (Fresh juice preferred.)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest (Enhances the flavor.)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (Can substitute with olive oil.)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic (Fresh garlic recommended.)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (Optional for spice.) Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (Chopped, for garnish.)

Preparation

  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  • Gently place the fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked cod and sprinkle with lemon zest.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
