Cooking Process

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and then add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it is coated with the sauce. Let simmer for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed, then serve hot.

Notes

Enhance flavor by marinating the chicken in olive oil and herbs beforehand. Customize by adding favorite vegetables or serving with crusty bread.
