Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce

Optional Coating

  • 1 cup chocolate chips optional, for coating
  • to taste pieces extra pretzels for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salted caramel sauce until smooth.
  • Stir in the crushed pretzels until they are evenly coated with the cheesecake mixture.
  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of the mixture and roll them into smooth balls.
  • Place the balls on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Coating

  • If using, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave in bursts of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate and return them to the baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with additional caramel sauce and top with extra pretzels if desired.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until firm, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in a pinch of sea salt. Customize by adding nuts or sprinkles. Serve on themed plates to enhance the experience.
