  • 2-3 cloves Minced garlic Fresh is preferred, can substitute with garlic powder
  • to taste Salt Use kosher salt if preferred
  • to taste Pepper Season to your taste

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Slivered almonds For extra flavor and crunch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For added brightness

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Wait until the oil shimmers.
  • Add the trimmed green beans and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until they are bright green.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Season the beans with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well to ensure even coating.
  • Once the beans are tender-crisp and vibrant, remove from heat.
  • Transfer the sautéed green beans to a serving dish and serve immediately.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
