  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup For serving on the side.
  • 1 tbsp Mustard For serving on the side.
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning Adds a spicy kick; adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced before serving.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Chopped fresh lettuce for crunch.

Preparation

  • Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add diced red potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and crispy.
  • Once the potatoes are done, add chopped onions to the same skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until they become translucent.

Cooking

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with Cajun seasoning. Form patties and place them in the skillet after the onions are ready. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes until they reach medium doneness.
  • Once the beef is cooked, sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover for 2-3 minutes until melted.

Assembly

  • Remove the skillet from heat. In individual bowls, layer the crispy potatoes, cheese-covered beef, fresh lettuce, and pickles.

Notes

Enhance flavors with a splash of Worcestershire sauce in the beef mixture. Customize by adding toppings like diced tomatoes or avocado. Serve with a side salad for extra freshness and crunch.
