  • 8 oz spaghetti Cook until al dente.
  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey Brown in a skillet.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 large eggs Beaten for binding.
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Divided for topping.
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese For mixing and topping.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning For seasoning the meat.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to your preference.

  • Fresh parsley or basil For garnishing.
  • Breadcrumbs For added crunch on top.

Cooking

  • Boil a large pot of water. Add spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add your ground beef or turkey. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Make sure to break up any clumps for even cooking.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, seasoned with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in 1 cup of mozzarella and all the Parmesan cheese. This mixture will help bind everything together.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti and meat sauce. Pour the egg mixture over the spaghetti and gently toss to combine all ingredients well.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased pie dish. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let your Spaghetti Pie cool for a few minutes before slicing. This helps it hold its shape. Enjoy with a side salad or crusty bread!

Notes

For best results, customize ingredients based on what you have or dietary needs. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
