Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.

Starch/Pasta

  • 12 oz Spaghetti Cook until al dente.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs (basil, oregano, Italian seasoning) Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese Combine with cream cheese.
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Layer on top.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 1 medium Onion, diced Sauté until translucent.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Avoid browning too much.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce Start with a small amount.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Can be substituted with soy sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart as it cooks until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another minute.
  • Pour in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large bowl, mix together ricotta, cream cheese, salt, herbs, and whisked eggs. Fold in the drained spaghetti.

Assembly and Baking

  • In a baking dish, spread half of the meat sauce on the bottom. Layer the spaghetti mixture on top, then add the remaining meat sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Customize with different meats or veggies. Serve with a salad or garlic bread.
