Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

For Serving

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 cups Rice For serving
  • 4 pieces Pita For serving
  • 1 bowl Salad For serving

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin to make a marinade.
  • Add the chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes for better flavor.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked.
  • Remove the chicken and let it rest before slicing.
  • In the same skillet, pour in any remaining marinade and simmer for a few minutes to create a creamy sauce.
  • Serve the chicken drizzled with the creamy sauce alongside rice, pita, and salad.

Notes

Add fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for extra flavor. Customize the spice level by adding chili powder or more paprika. Serve with a dollop of extra yogurt on top for creaminess.
