  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (full fat preferred)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 medium fresh green jalapenos (3 diced for salad, 1 thinly sliced for garnish)
  • 1.5 cups orange cheddar cheese (finely shredded, divided)

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and crispy bacon.
  • Add the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise, mixing until well combined.
  • Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Fold in the diced jalapenos and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until evenly mixed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Garnish with thinly sliced jalapeno for an extra kick.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes
