  • 6 cups Cubed Watermelon Use ripe, seedless watermelon for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Water Adjust based on desired thickness.
  • ΒΌ cup Granulated Sugar Enhances sweetness if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Agave Nectar Optional for added sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for tartness.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Optional for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the watermelon into cubes and placing them into a blender.
  • Add water and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any pulp.
  • In a pitcher, combine the watermelon juice, granulated sugar, honey or agave nectar, lemon juice, and lime juice.
  • Stir well until the sugar is dissolved and everything is mixed evenly.
  • Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar or honey if desired.
  • Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh mint or basil leaves when blending. Customize with other fruits for a twist. Serve immediately after chilling for the freshest taste!
