  • 6 pieces hoagie rolls Slice just before serving for freshness.
  • 6 slices provolone cheese Can be substituted with mozzarella.

Vegetables

  • 1 green bell pepper sliced For sweetness and color.
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced For sweetness and color.
  • 1 onion sliced Adds flavor and texture.

Optional Ingredients

  • to taste jalapeƱos or banana peppers For added heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • Top the chicken with the sliced green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion.
  • Pour the beef broth over the chicken and veggies.
  • Sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over everything.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken inside the slow cooker and mix everything together.
